Financial Analyst and Controller
Silver Star Group is the official representative and importers of the German concern Mercedes-Benz AG and Daimler AG for Bulgaria. The company’s portfolio includes Mercedes-Benz, SETRA and FUSO brands. At the beginning of April 2022 Silver Star presented a completely new brand – INEOS Grenadier. Silver Star Group offers the full range of services for business and end customers, including sale and after-sales services for new and used cars, vans, trucks and buses, as well as sales of spare parts and accessories. The dealer centers are positioned in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Burgas.
For our Finance team, we are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented FINANCIAL ANALYST AND CONTROLLER. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and implementing effective control mechanisms to ensure the organization's financial health. You will play a pivotal role in supporting decision-making processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving cost optimization strategies.
• Prepare P&L, Balance sheet statements and other financial reports for senior management;
• Generate FP&A monthly, quarterly and Ad hoc reports;
• Prepare budget, monitor its implementation, and administer the Budget/Forecast cycle;
• Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and compliance with regulations;
• Analyze financial statements, trends, and key performance indicators to provide actionable insights;
• Participate in inventory, approve expenses;
• Check for accuracy and be responsible for data integration in DMS (Automaster) and the accounting system;
• Work closely with a finance team and other departments, and communicate with institutions (if necessary).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field;
• At least 3-4 years of professional experience in financial analysis, controlling, or related fields;
• Excellent MS Excel skills (V-Lookups, Pivot tables, etc. ), PowerPoint, and experience with accounting software and/or ERP systems;
• Great command of the English language, both written and verbal;
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively;
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting;
• Very Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex data to non-financial stakeholders;
• Analytical and time management skills, collaborative mindset, and attention to detail.
