STRATEGIC PROCUREMENT MANAGER
Responsibilities:
Works on the implementation of the company's investment projects;
Works on the development of the strategic procurement process and the application of best practices, focusing on the company's main objectives from a long-term perspective;
Takes actions to improve and develop strong relationships with current and potential suppliers, building trust-based relationships with them and implementing continuous improvements, such as cost reduction, achieving optimal deadlines, and other contractual conditions;
Conducts analyses of supplier selection and their performance management to reduce inefficiencies and optimize the entire procurement process;
Manages risk by analyzing the market behavior of potential suppliers or assessing risks to identify potential problems and effectively prevent disruptions in the supply chain;
Analyzes the bidding and procurement process, identifying areas for improvement and planning more effective strategies for optimization;
Enhances and supports better organization and communication between the activities of preparing bids and the entire procurement and delivery process of raw materials and supplies, including the logistics of equipment to the respective project sites;
Streamlines operational activities to improve decision-making and increase the efficiency of the bidding and procurement departments;
Acts in a structured, systematic, and proactive manner for a more efficient bidding and procurement process for goods and services, using various approaches and methods.
Requirements:
Technical education – bachelor’s or master’s degree;
Ar least 5 years in the field of Procurement and/or Logistics;
Experience with power generation facilities will be of a great asset;
Knowledge of the market and the procurement processes;
Good communication and negotiation skills, business ethics and loyalty;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (other European Union languages considered a strong advantage);
Solid interpersonal and organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills;
Ability to work effectively in a team, under pressure and to meet deadlines, analytical thinking and initiative.
