Our client is a new international company located in Plovdiv. For their growing team, we are looking for a Chief Accountant.


Below are the primary responsibilities:

• Management of the Accounting Department:

- Organizing and coordinating the activities of the accounting team.

- Delegating tasks among team members and monitoring their execution.

• Preparation of Financial Statements:

- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with national legislation and

international accounting standards (if required).

- Analyzing and presenting financial information to the management.

• Control of Accounting Documentation:

- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.

- Reviewing and approving accounting transactions.

• Communication with External Institutions:

- Liaising with tax authorities, auditors, banks, and other external partners.

- Preparing and submitting tax declarations and other mandatory reports.

• Tax and Legal Compliance:

- Monitoring changes in accounting and tax legislation and ensuring their implementation in the

company's activities.

- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Budgeting and Planning:

- Preparing budgets and forecasts in collaboration with management.

- Monitoring financial performance against the budget.

• Working with specialized accounting software: Optimizing and implementing accounting processes within

the systems.


• Educational Background: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• Professional Experience: at least 5 years within accounting departments

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Familiarity with accounting regulations and standards

• Language Skills: Excellent command of English.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities. Leadership skills are equally important for managing the

team effectively
