On behalf of one of our client, we are currently looking for Financial controller to join their team.
• Under the guidance and supervision of the CFO responsible for Companies budgeting and forecasting, including preparation of the Group consolidated budgets;

• Support the accounting team during the monthly, quarterly and annual closing;

• Responsible for cost reports and financial forecasts, actual vs budget reports, based on the Company’s reporting schedules;

• Analysing the companies within the group on a regular basis;

• Actively participating during the annual audits by cooperating with the external auditors under the supervision of the CFO;

• Implement financial policies and procedures with the companies and proposing amendments wherever needed;

• Identify of potential major financial risks and suggestions for ways to mitigate them;

• Under the guidance and supervision of the CFO establishing, participating in monitoring and enforcing all internal controls and procedures, including over accounting, finances and payments;

• Other ad-hoc reporting and tasks, for example: critical analysis of the accounting books and statutory reporting (in terms of their comparison to Management reporting), including consolidated accounts; reconciling account balances/transactions; monitoring the accuracy/efficiency of the accounting department and objectively reporting on its performance; contributing to decisions regarding financial strategy.
• Bachelor’s Degree: Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred;

• Knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting;

• An excellent team player with the ability to build strong relationships, working cross-function and with teams across the globe.

• Highly organized - able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• Advanced MS Excel skills and fluency in English.

• Ability to understand end-to-end processes, identify improvement & simplification opportunities and design and implement standardized solutions.
