We are now looking for an experienced and motivated professional for the position of

Oracle PL/SQL developer

 

Key responsibilities:

- Analyze product requirements, based on business and technical specifications

- Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development.

- Analyze and optimize existing views, functions and stored procedures.

- Design, develop and test database solution in PL/SQL.

- Liaise with and assist the Support Team with system(s) deployment and identification of any potential defects or issues within existing code and provide effective solutions to problems

- Design and implement APIs for integration with other internal systems, third-party services, and external financial and insurance service providers

- Conduct code reviews, ensuring best practices and high-quality code

- Use bug tracking system, project management system and version control software.

Required skills and experience:

- 5+ years experience with PL/SQL and database development.

- Experience with version control systems;

- Very good analytical skills, data investigation skills and database tuning and optimization skills

- Business Proficiency in English

- Desire to learn and to be challenged

- Team work and time management skills

- Experience with Oracle APEX.

- Oracle Forms & Reports 12c.

Desirable/ advantages

- Know-how or experience working on insurance solutions.

- Assist in implementation of the software in production;
