Chief Operations Officer

In Bulgaria KBC Asset Management has now become the local leader managing close to 1. 5 billion leva for its clients. And with growth comes the need for a stronger team and an exciting new role is now available.
o Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations - Preparation, calculation and control of the determination of the net asset value. Cooperation with custodians, Central depository and other institutions regarding feeder funds. Keep records of transactions, cash and units flows. Ensure and perform the financial settlement of agreements/transactions (feeders+masters). Conclude transactions for feeders’ portfolios. Checks all orders for master funds, prepared by Chief Investment Strategist, incl. currency deals. Ensures 4 eyes principal implementation.
o Fund Reporting - Preparation of all reports related to the managed feeder funds with Financial Supervision Commission (Reports to FSC system - EIS), Bulgarian National Bank and other authorities. Annual IFRS audit reports, semi-annual reports, etc. Communication and cooperation with funds auditors. Ensures 4 eyes principal implementation.
o Fund accounting - Manage the financial aspects and keep sub-ledger records feeder funds.
o Payments - Payment of incoming invoices and verify their payment regarding the funds. Responsible for all payments related to subscriptions and redemptions.
o Communicates with the vendors regarding automation of funds operations and reports.
o Participates in P&V Committee (KBC AM Group).
o Responsible for the preparation and actualization of internal rules, policies and procedures, related to operations.
o Participates in Group projects related to operations.
o Education: Master degree Economics, Accounting, Finance
o At least 3 years of experience in accounting or operations
o Knowledge in the field of financial instruments is an advantage
o Analytical thinking and entrepreneurship, organizational skills, efficiency
o Be proactive and self-governing
o Good command in English
