Finance and Аccounting Еxpert
Kaliman Caribe Ltd. has been established in 1995 as the exclusive distributor of the prestigious brands of handmade Habanos cigars within Bulgaria with today projection:
• developing dynamically trade import - export – local supply chain and national distribution in more than 12 international markets;
• representing a variety of other cigars & cigarillos, smoking accessories producers;
• managing own retail chain - Premium Cigars & Tobacco shops, as well as licensed retail franchises: La Casa del Habano and Cohiba Atmosphere.
Currently, we are looking for a Finance and accounting expert.
The purpose of the position is to carry out financial analyzes and control over the accounting organization of the company's external subsidiaries, control and communication with individual accounting offices by country. The successful profile for the position requires the candidate to have previous accounting experience which is enhanced with analytical and control functions. Easily adaptable profile with experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
You will be responsible for:
• Assist in the monthly closing process, ensuring accurate accounting entries and financial reviews.
• Support annual audits, budgeting process and forecasting.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide reports based on business needs.
• Review subsidiaries accounting transactions and ensure compliance.
• Ensure accurate accruals and financial control.
• Assist subsidiaries with accounting issues, imports, and payments.
• Approve bank payments and monitor financial transactions.
• Identify financial risks and recommend improvements.
• Propose improvements and optimizations to the financial processes.
• Develop and enhance financial reports using Power BI.
• Conduct pricing analyses and ensure proper ERP system input.
Requirements:
• University degree in Finance; Accounting or related fields.
• 5+ experience of senior accounting role with at least 3 years in financial planning and reporting.
• Strong accounting background.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems - Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) is an advantage.
• Perfect command of English.
• Proactivity and initiative person with analytical thinking and precision.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• High attention to details, integrity, and a proactive approach to problem solving, team player and ethics.
