UBB was established in 1992 through the merger of 22 Bulgarian regional commercial banks as the first and largest in terms of scale consolidation project in the Bulgarian banking sector. Since 2017 the Bank has been part of the Belgian bank-assurance group КВС, currently the largest financial group in Bulgaria.

The Data Quality Management (DQM) department of UBB has as an objective to improve the quality of data used in UBB, specifically the data used by the group-wide reporting platform known as Group Functions Data and Reporting Layer which services both group-functions and local functions.

The Rainbow Program is a DQM initiative to create a future proof Group wide internal and external Company management reporting solution (Risk, Finance and Treasury), fully controlling the:

• reporting & risk analysis purposes on Group and Local level;

• common model and language;

• quality reports and dashboards steering the process

Currently we are looking for Functional analyst for “Rainbow” Program team, who will be responsible for the following:

MAIN CHALLENGES:

- Accurate translation of the bank business model to the respective data models within the Group platform

- Follow up of the new product implementation in the source systems as well as changes related to the existing products ensuring their proper development and deployment to Production environment.

- Manages code list process.

- Support and analysis of the corrections based on predefined procedures, authorization rules and controls.

- Analysis and solving of incidents and Data Quality issues.

- Ensure the accurate transfer of all mapping changes trough the different environments.

- Perform functional testing of the development before the upload to production environment.

- Responsible for ensuring qualitative data for the respective report clusters reviewing and validating the defined data quality rules.

Work in a close cooperation with the development teamр, local and Group business experts

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE HAS:

- University degree in Economic, Finance; Computer science, Statistics, etc.

- Previous experience in business or functional analysis

- Knowledge and experience in writing SQL queries

- Previous experience with banking software is an advantage.

- Good analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to details

- Team player with ability to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.

- Excellent command of English.

- Advanced computer skills – Microsoft Office, etc.
