The telecommunications industry is one of the most high-tech industries in the modern world and offers an exciting field for individuals with technical skills.

The Mobile Packet Core Support Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the servers for mobile internet. This will provide an opportunity to work with the most advanced technologies in the field, contributing to the implementation of innovations and the optimization of the network infrastructure.  

Your daily routine would include:

•     Ensuring high available, efficient operation and continuous enhancement of our Mobile Packet Core network and services;

•     Utilizing modern virtualized and cloud technologies for EPC/5GC to achieve peak network and services efficiency; 

•     Performing operations, configurations, system administration, testing, and maintenance activities, ensuring reliability and performance for our customers;

•     Collaborate with operational or cross-functional teams in multiple countries/operators working on common projects and activities;

•     Working closely with departments such as: NOC, RAN, Core, TV, IP Transport and Security to ensure services alignment with overall business needs;

•     Monitoring performance indicators (KPIs) to continuously assess network and services performance and customers service quality.

We’ll know you can make it if you have:

•     University degree in the field of IT/Telecommunications;

•     3+ years professional experience with Mobile Packet EPC/5GC networks;

•     Good knowledge of architecture and functionality of a Mobile Packet Core EPC/5GC and platforms AAA, PCRF;

•     Good knowledge of all basic 3GPP message flows in a Mobile Data Network: 2G/3G/4G/5G e. g. S1AP/NAS, GTP, S6a, AAA, Diameter, Gx, Gy, Sy, SIP, DNS, HTTPS;

•     Operation and configuration management, System health checks, KPI performance statistics and protocol analysis with packet analysis tracing tools and systems;

•     Knowledge in IP principles and troubleshooting, Core Networks, IP networking and routing protocols e. g. TCP/IP, BGP, HTTP/2;

•     Working level user Linux experience, VNF/CNF;

•     Possibility for 7×24 call-out responsibility;

•     Good written and spoken English skills.
